Slewing Ring- Seal 
The sealing of slewing bearing is mainly to prevent the filled grease from leaking out, and also to prevent external dust, impurities and moisture from entering the inside of the bearing and affecting the normal operation of the bearing.

Since most of the slewing bearings work under heavy loads and low speeds, the sealing form of the bearings adopts 2 structures: rubber seal ring seal and labyrinth seal. The rubber sealing ring itself has a simple structure, small space occupation and reliable sealing performance. The disadvantage is that it is prone to early aging under high temperature conditions and loss of airtightness. Therefore, under high temperature conditions, the slewing bearing should adopt a labyrinth seal. In addition, the material of the sealing ring under high temperature is high temperature resistant fluoro rubber.

Slewing ring bearing- Maintain
1. The slewing bearing should be greased regularly. According to different types of slewing bearings, the specific grease filling time is as follows: the ball type is filled with grease every 100 hours of operation; the roller type is filled with grease every 50 hours of operation .

2. The sundries on the surface of the slewing ring should be removed frequently during use, and the sealing strip of the slewing ring should be checked for aging, cracking, damage or separation. If 1 of these conditions occurs, the sealing strip should be replaced in time to prevent debris from entering the raceway and the loss of grease.

Pay close attention to the operation of the slewing ring during use. If you find that the noise, impact, or power suddenly increases, you should stop the machine immediately for inspection until all the faults are eliminated, and disassemble and inspect if necessary.
